AI Vision’s commandments: Integrating AI, Humanity, and Sustainability for a Bright Future - Felipe Castro Quiles

To survive, coexist and thrive, humanity's mindset is the one who needs to transform. As I see it, if we work together, we can achieve "a future for all", with AI as the brain of every future system:


1. Inclusive Design: Prioritize inclusivity, global collaboration and accessibility in AI development, preventing the exacerbation of existing inequalities. Because only then will we be able to recognize what is truly beneficial and equitable in a new age.


2. Responsible Governance: Establish future-driven frameworks and international cooperation to effectively govern a future of coexistence with other humans, machines, and nature, setting inclusive standards and addressing potential risks.


3. Skill Recognition, Allocation, and Development: Promote education and training programs to equip individuals with the skills needed to understand, interact, and contribute to AI-driven systems and other technologies of the future.


4. Socioeconomic Impact: Anticipate and manage the socioeconomic impact of AI adoption, including reskilling/upskilling, job displacement mitigation, and job creation in emerging AI-related sectors. Perhaps work as we know it is not necessary in a world where hard labor can be done by machines and autonomous systems.


5. Accessible Information: Use exponential technologies to enhance transparency by making information readily available, enabling informed decision-making and accountability.


6. Participatory Governance: Leverage online platforms and digital tools for citizen participation in decision-making processes, empowering individuals and enhancing knowledge-base participation.


7. Smart Cities: Utilize exponential technologies to create efficient and sustainable urban environments, optimizing resource management and improving infrastructure, resources distribution, and delivery.


8. Blockchain for Trust and Security: Employ blockchain technology to enhance transparency, prevent corruption, ensure the integrity of voting systems, and increase trust in government processes.


9. Data-Driven Policy Making: Leverage the power of exponential technologies to collect and analyze data, enabling evidence-based decision-making and effective policy design.


10. Humane-AI-Driven Application: Focus on enhancing human capabilities to ensure well-being and quality of life, rather than replacing or devaluing human experience. Empower individuals by placing them in optimal social positions that allow the freedom to choose personally fulfilling work, while considering the common benefit.


Although there are certainly other factors to consider, such as encouraging and empowering humane and altruistic behavior, I firmly believe that by combining these considerations, we can actively work towards a future where AI is not only beneficial but also designed inclusively. This inclusive design of AI can help us address societal challenges, foster progress, promote equality, and ultimately enhance the well-being of all living beings. Ultimately, by harnessing the immense potential of AI technology, we have the opportunity to navigate potential pitfalls and instead create a future that uplifts and benefits every individual and community.
