End-of-Year Reflection 2025

I've been to Singularity University at NASA Ames Research Center, AI for Good Global Summit in Switzerland, even The World Bank headquarters. But not for a badge or a paycheck. I've been there to prove that AI, when designed and applied the right way, can actually save the world… can truly save humanity from ourselves.

Instead… I sometimes found debates on problems that didn't even exist. 😅

Dream:

  1. Be sustainable without confronting the elephant in the room.

  2. Be the next Silicon Valley without understanding the complexity and dynamics of ecosystems.

  3. Eradicate climate change, inequality, and biodiversity loss without addressing root causes and moving away from short-term gains and superficial solutions.

Reality:

  • Brilliant people, but mindsets stuck in the past.

  • Brilliant ideas, but risk-averse leadership.

  • Brilliant tools, but budgets stuck in previous economic realities.

  • Brilliant data, but unused or trapped in outdated systems.

Basically, decisions trapped in old hierarchies!

I think I've found the gap and will pursue a new strategy in 2026: The AI Corridor of the Americas

  1. Training to shift mindset and behavior, showing leaders that tech can serve, not replace.

  2. Bridging capital (human and financial) & communities.

  3. Designing instruments that actually fit local contexts.

  • Representative AI deployed

  • Tools driving real-world impact

  • Communities empowered by data and data governed by communities

Real impact is about unlocking systems rather than repeating prefabricated solutions (unrelated to reality). Algorithms are about optimizing. AI is about amplifying insight. Humanity is about unlocking collaboration, empathy and potential to create and improve a thriving future.

P.S. What problem do you wan to solve and how can I help you?

Collage of A Felipe Castro Quiles professional reflection on global experiences in AI and innovation. Visited Singularity University at NASA Ames Research Center, AI for Good Global Summit in Switzerland, and The World Bank headquarters. Expresses frustration with debates on nonexistent problems and highlights gaps between visionary goals and real-world execution. Plans a new 2026 strategy called “AI Corridor of the Americas” to train leaders, bridge capital and communities, and deploy AI tools for meaningful impact.
