An inherited trait
I come from a family of pioneers who challenged their circumstances to turn dreams into tangible achievements. My maternal grandparents, born into poverty, broke social barriers and founded Benquil, a thriving family business that prospered for over 40 years. Their story proves that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
My mother, a pharmacist by profession, inherited that entrepreneurial spirit and channeled it into creating several companies in the healthcare sector, positively impacting entire communities. She also played a key role in founding a regionally recognized pharmacy cooperative.
My father, raised in an underserved neighborhood, refused to be defined by his circumstances. Through perseverance, he became a respected attorney and a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association, dedicating his career to advocating for justice, equity, and equality.
I grew up inspired by their legacy of resilience, courage, and purpose. Today, that legacy guides my commitment to create positive impact and to build—with vision and effort—my own story that honors their footsteps.
I owe my professional career to them.
Inspired by their example, I have developed a deep passion for education as the foundation for personal and social growth, for social enterprises as a fair means to create and distribute wealth, and for technology as an essential tool for progress.
After completing a Dual Master’s Degree in International Business at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón (Puerto Rico, USA) and the European Forum – Business School of the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain), I decided to dive into the world of exponential technologies, driven by my interest in EdTech, artificial intelligence, and self-sustaining business models that address social challenges and challenge the status quo.
My work in this field has strengthened my strong commitment to technological innovation, and I am honored to have been recognized as one of the Top 30 Innovators by the Silicon Valley Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (SVIEF).
